―― Photographer LESLIE KEE and English Teacher JOSHUA OGG celebrates the 1st Anniversary of their Engagement ! Special interview and photo galleries of their Love Story.
世界的写真家として、主に日本やアジア、ニューヨークでブランド、雑誌、CMなど様々なジャンルで活動するレスリー・キー。昨年5月にパートナーであり、ファッションモデルのジョシュアさんと婚約し、本日めでたく1周年を迎えた。
当初、今年7月に東京と12月にニューヨークで2つの結婚式を挙げる予定だったが、残念ながら現在の新型コロナウイルスの世界的拡大により延期をすることに――。
しかしながら、レスリーはそれでも前向きな毎日を暮らし、そして私たちにハッピーなエールを贈ってくれる。それが、来週5月14日（木）にTOKYO MXで放送されている『らしく ～My Story～』だ。
この番組は、LGBTsだけでなく誰もが自然体で生きていける社会づくりを目指す『自分らしく生きるプロジェクト』の一環として放送されており、LGBTsの人たちへの密着ドキュメンタリーを通して、自分らしく生きることの大切さや素晴らしさと、一人でも多くの当事者・理解者にメッセージを届けたいという思いから、制作されている。

レスリーは婚約1周年記念を含め、パートナーであるモデルのジョシュアと一緒に番組に出演する。時にはパートナーであり、時にはモデルとカメラマンという関係のレスリーは、ジョシュアと出会ったことで、人生の生き方が変わったと話す。
自分のセクシュアリティをオープンにすること、好きを隠さない大切さ、家族としての愛…など、自分の中に秘めていた「ゲイ」であるアイディンティティを曝け出し歩もうと思った全て、そしてLGBTsへの応援メッセージと、写真に込め続ける「人生は美しい」という希望に満ちた魔法を届けてくれます。
世界に愛と勇気と希望のメッセージを発信し続けてきた彼だが、今ようやく新しい気づきと「非現実の美しさから現実の美しさへ」と変わる時期に差し掛かったようだ――。

アメリカとシンガポールの家族写真。たくさんの写真が貼られたギターは、婚約祝いにアメリカにいるいとこのBrandonとAmberとその子供たちからのプレゼント。
Joshua’s family in Ohio America and Leslie’s family in Singapore get together to for a memorable family photo. The artistic guitar was decorated by their cousin, Brandon and Amber and their children as a surprise present for both of them.

二人の素晴らしいメモリーの数々。家には幼い頃の写真を並べたり、ステイホーム期間中に迎えた婚約一周年記念にはジョシュアがレスリーの髪の毛を散髪。また記念写真も撮影するなど、二人の思い出をすべて写真に残していくレスリー。

コロナ期間中、レスリーが「家で過ごす時間」の大切さを届ける。家には愛が溢れていることのメッセージ。そして自宅での過ごし方も大公開。家にいてもバケーション！ハワイの海を想像しての日焼けタイム（笑）。
Spending 12 weeks of self quarantine together in their home at Shibuya, beautifully decorated with their favorite family and fashion photos, and their big collection of art books etc.
The precious and quality time spent together cooking, cleaning,
cuddling and watching tons of Netflix dramas and movies have strengthen and cultivate the strong bond and love of Joshua and Leslie, more than they can ever imagine in a lifetime.
Sun tanning at the big terrace of their home during the sunny day imagining at a beach balcony in Hawaii during the Coronavirus crisis when the world was lockdown.
――WEDDING CEREMONIES
今年7月26日に京都の両足院にて、12月にニューヨークのThe Skylarkで、挙式を予定していた二人だが、コロナ問題のために来年に延期に。大勢の友人や家族を招待し開かれる予定とのこと。
Joshua and Leslie have been planning to hold 2 different wedding ceremonies in year 2020, to celebrate with their family and friends, with guest celebrities and artists performing.
KYOTO on 26 July 2020, at Ryosokuin Temple, being the first gay couple ever to wed in the historical temple of Kenninjin.
NEW YORK on 12 December 2020, at The Skylark New York, a classic Manhattan rooftop lounge and facing the Empire State Building, with wordless breathtaking views.
But due to Coronavirus crisis, they have no choice but to postpone both wedding ceremonies to year 2021 hopefully.

『東京2020』は人々を感動させたり勇気づけたりするだけでなく、社会のあり方を変える力を持っていることをレスリーが、ポートレートメッセージを通じて一人ひとりの思いをつなぐ写真プロジェクトを担当。
“Tokyo 2020 Portrait Messages by Leslie Kee” is a collaboration with NHK Broadcasting, started from year 2016, to support and embrace the spirits of Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics games. Currently more than 2000 portraits have been photographed and 500 celebrities, artists, sportsmen etc havealso starred in the series of promotion video clips directed by Leslie Kee, with the song performed by Yumi Matsutoya.
